The 2014 Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada (SMCC) Sponsorship Marketing Awards (SMAs) are getting ready to roll! Just last week a call for entries for this showcase of Canadian sponsorship was announced. The (SMAs) recognize the brands and their partners the sponsorship selling properties that have maximized their investments in sponsorship marketing by developing unique activations that meet business objectives.
The entry categories include Sports, Arts & Entertainment, Cause, Special Interest, Sustained Success and Small Budget. New categories for 2014 include Festivals, French Language and Hall of Fame. This is going to be an exciting year for the SMAs.
Entries must be submitted by Friday, February 21. To be eligible, entries must speak to activations that have taken place within the past 36 months (January 2011 – January 2014). Be sure not to miss this deadline and get your submissions in right away! This is a great opportunity to showcase you or your partners’ sponsorship program.
