CWHL Teams Up with HIGH FIVE

The Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) has teamed up with HIGH FIVE, a division of Parks and Recreation Ontario (PRO), to launch the #HIGHFIVE4Girls Campaign, which offers organizations who are empowering girls through sport and recreation programs the chance to attend the 2015 Clarkson Cup. The Clarkson Cup is awarded annually to the top women’s hockey team in the CWHL.

HIGH FIVE is Canada’s only comprehensive quality standard for organizations providing recreation and sport programs to children aged 6 to 12.

“We are delighted to be partners in the #HIGHFIVE4girls Campaign and welcoming young fans to come check out what the Canadian Women’s Hockey League is all about,” CWHL commissioner Brenda Andress said. “We want to share the success of our elite female athletes with the kids and to leave them with a lasting positive impression of hockey and the joy of playing the game.”

The CWHL is proud to be providing HIGH FIVE Organizations with complementary tickets to the Wednesday March 4 3:30PM game at the Clarkson Cup.  The 2015 Clarkson Cup, presented by Scotiabank and in partnership with the City of Markham, takes place March 4-7, and is the seventh annual CWHL championship tournament.
