The Western Sponsorship Congress™ provides professional development and networking opportunities that have focus on a range of sponsorship related topics from inventory development, prospecting, branding, designing proposals, technology, communications, case studies and insights from properties and corporate sponsors.

This two day conference is one of the largest sponsorship focused events in Canada.

Over 200 delegates and speakers will be in attendance. Attendees represent a cross section of corporations and small businesses that invest in sponsorship, non-profits and charities, sports organizations (professional and amateur), all levels of government and advertising, communications, public relations and sponsorship agencies.

The promotion will run until Oct 13th at 12:00. The winner will be announced on Oct 14th.

Blog Post Example #2: Five Minute Pitch Sessions at the Western Sponsorship Congress Oct 26 – 27 Calgary!

The Western Sponsorship Congress (happening in Calgary on Oct 26 & 27) will be having another Interactive Panel Discussion called: the Five Minute Pitch™.

This session is 2 hours of sellers pitching, sponsors spending AND audience/delegate participation. This unique format will create a mock “pitch and buy” session!

On one side, the sellers will be properties ranging from small non-profits to Arts, Health and Sporting Events. Each presenter will have “five minutes” to present their case and pitch why a sponsor should invest in their property. The properties have the flexibility to target all or any one of the prospective sponsors.

Once all of the sellers have pitched, the buyers will get involved. Each of these industry leading professionals will decide how they will spend the $100,000 mock budget they have to allocate!

Once all of the industry leaders (sellers and buyers) have had their say, the floor is open to delegates for an opportunity to ask any panel member questions, make comments or gain further details.
