Stephanie has over ten years experience with media advertising and publications, public relations, and sponsorship and she has a proven track record of being a leader in public relations & events.
Stephanie started working in the hospitality and food service industry, and learned the respect and knowledge that ultimately earned her a White Hat Award for service excellence. Following Marketing and Public Relations Studies at Mount Royal College and the SAIT Culinary Program, she moved into the public relations world and started at a major newspaper as a freelance advertiser. Her knowledge of the public relations industry combined with that of sales and event planning skills proved a successful combination.
Stephanie's expertise includes design, development and activation of public relationship campaigns, sponsorship & advertising systems and she has an extensive background as an event specialist manager. Stephanie has worked directly or indirectly with Canadian and International Corporations, Non-Profits, the Education Sector and Charitable Organizations. Stephanie has worked with over 50 companies on public relations campaigns, as a consultant and full-time employee with such partners as Brass Hospitality Service Ltd., Culinary Team Alberta & Canada, Kraft Canada Ltd., International Culinary Expo 2005, The Calgary Sun, Essence Magazine, MEXX, The Canadian Cancer Society, COPS for Cancer, Signal Hill Estate Developments Ltd., The Calgary Firefighters Association, Calgary Winterfest, and Shanks Athletic Club Group to name a few.
Stephanie is a proud employee of SAIT Polytechnic in the Alumni & Development Department. In addition, Stephanie is a volunteer on many different committees, including The Famous Five Foundation, The White Hat Selection Committee, The Cookbook Company, and Calgary Opera. Stephanie is also a member of the Women's Executive Network, AFP, CASE and The Bow Valley Club.
