Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

I want to take this opportunity to wish you, your family, and colleagues a very Merry Christmas! To those who also have spiritual celebrations at this time, including the Jewish community, Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans, and Zoroastrians, all of which occur in December, may you enjoy the peace and serenity of this holy time.

The past year has not been what any of us hoped for or were “promised.” There have been many false starts which have created false hopes. There was the belief that the goose that lays the golden egg was coming in the form of vaccines. There has been more separation versus collaboration. There has been the finding (and I should really say believing what was already known, but not accepted) of First Nations children’s burial grounds at former residential schools. There have also been bright spots such as fewer deaths from Covid-19, new ideation on how to make things work in the post pandemic world, and something of a transition, albeit slow, to normalcy.

I can only hope and pray that, over the next few weeks, each of you will have the opportunity to celebrate that which your faith proclaims, spend quality time with your family and friends, and enjoy your health and presence on this earth.

I know this holiday season will not be what we yearn for in a return to normal, but in many ways, it will be the same as in past years—love, sharing, and kindness should abound and we should all be grateful for what we have. I know that my family and I are most grateful for our health, friends, family, and the ability to be together and celebrate Christmas , although some family members and friends who were with us last year will not be at the table this year in person, but will be in our hearts.

From my wife, daughter, and our entire team at the Partnership Group–Sponsorship Specialists®, have a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season.

Our thoughts and love are with you and yours as you celebrate this time of year.
