Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

I want to take this opportunity to wish you, your family, and colleagues a very Merry Christmas! To those who also have spiritual celebrations at this time, including the Jewish community, Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans, and Zoroastrians, all of which occur in December, may you enjoy the peace and serenity of this holy time.

The past year has been a weird one. We have managed to, for the most part. Gotten past COVID and the pandemic only to be inflicted with new strains of the virus, new flu strains and more respiratory issues. This has all be coupled with continued supply chain issues and inflation the likes of which we have not seen since the late 80’s. (I remember buying my first house with a mortgage rate of 18% in 1989!)

And on top of all tis a recession is on the horizon!

We have learned clearly that the “new normal” has more “new” than “normal” but also have come to recognize that might be a good thing!

I can only hope and pray that, over the next few weeks, each of you will have the opportunity to celebrate that which your faith proclaims, spend quality time with your family and friends, and enjoy your health and presence on this earth.

When I look to all the cultural celebrations during this time of the year there is one underlying theme. No matter the issues affecting our health or economy, the state of our finances or the gloom of an imminent recession this season provides us all with the message of love, sharing, and kindness that should abound amongst us and that we should all be grateful for what we have.

I know that my family and I are most grateful for our health, friends, family, and the ability to be together and celebrate Christmas, although some family members and friends who were with us in the past will not be at the table this year in person, but they will be there in our hearts.

From my wife, daughter, and our entire team at the Partnership Group–Sponsorship Specialists®, have a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season.

Our thoughts and love are with you and yours as you celebrate this time of year.
