West Edmonton Mall (WEM) recently announced a five-year partnership with Western Canada’s leading Toyota dealer for the naming rights of their iconic Ice Palace, officially named “The Mayfield Toyota Ice Palace” effective June 15, 2015.
As well as being the official naming rights sponsor, Mayfield Toyota Scion is now the exclusive automotive partner of the facility. A new centre ice logo has been developed and it, along with new signage displaying the brand, will soon be added around the attraction. In addition, the agreement allows Mayfield Toyota Scion to hold six major sales events at the facility each year.
This is the first time WEM has entered a partnership for the naming rights to any of our attractions. “This is a great partnership opportunity for us,” said Daniel Person, Vice President of Specialty Leasing & Partnerships for WEM. “We have built a strong relationship with Mayfield Toyota over the years and we believe they are the right company to enter this type of agreement with.
