Viterra Provides Funding Support to Junior Hockey Across Western Canada

Viterra Inc., Canada’s grain industry leader, recently announced its partnership with the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) and the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) for the 2014-15 season.  The company’s sponsorship will support all 40 teams across multiple communities in Western Canada.

Kyle Jeworski, Viterra’s President and CEO for North America said, “Viterra sponsored the SJHL through the Viterra Division last year, which was a great success and factored into our decision to expand our support to the AJHL and MJHL. Our support of junior hockey illustrates the value we place on teamwork, determination, integrity and high performance – the same values that guide our employees in delivering superior service and advice to our customers.”

As part of its sponsorship, Viterra will receive recognition through various channels including division naming rights and other promotional activities. The company also plans to host various employee and customer appreciation events throughout the season in connection with its sponsorship, and to further help promote local hockey across Western Canada.
