Brent Barootes has spent more than 35 years in the sponsorship marketing industry, helping organisations develop profitable partnerships and naming rights programs that deliver real return on investment for sponsors, rights holders, and communities.

As President and CEO of Partnership Group – Sponsorship Specialists®, Brent leads a team that works with organisations across Canada to structure sponsorship programs, value assets, and build sustainable partnerships. Since founding the firm in 2001, he has advised corporations, charities, sports organisations, municipalities, and major events across the country.

Earlier in his career, Brent worked directly in professional sport and charitable sponsorship sales, giving him experience on both the selling and buying sides of partnerships.

Brent is also a sought-after speaker, delivering 20–25 keynote and training sessions each year, and is the author of the Amazon Canada bestselling book Reality Check – Straight Talk about Sponsorship Marketing.

He lives in Nanaimo, BC, with his wife while their daughter completes her post-secondary studies in central Canada.
