Cardel Homes has invested in another community-minded venture in Calgary, a naming sponsorship with South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA), which includes Cardel naming rights to several key onsite facilities.

“With Cardel wrapping up its naming sponsorship at Cardel Place, and given our long history of building in south Calgary, it was a natural fit to become a naming sponsor at this top-notch facility,” says Damon Ockey, director of marketing for Cardel Homes.

“The sponsorship dollars will be re-invested back into the facility and South Fish Creek Complex through capital life-cycle replacement programs, thereby maintaining the facility in a like new state without having to go to the community or City for funding,” says SFCRA general manager Les Turner

“The partnership goes beyond dollars, as we are excited to be sharing resources with Cardel Homes to offer bigger and better special event programming for the entire community.”

Cardel’s SFCRA-naming sponsorship includes four ice arenas – Cardel Ice 1, 2, 3 and 4-plus a community gymnasium, Cardel Court.

“We are excited about this naming opportunity and hope to bring many events to the facility, including co-sponsored events with the Calgary Hitmen and Roughnecks,” says Ockey.
