To get things done we need to take action. Things don’t happen unless you take action. Sitting, thinking, planning, waiting, etc. do not get things done. If you want to close that deal, you need to move it forward; do the discovery session; cultivate; prepare and present a proposal; overcome objections and close! Same for that retirement plan or the vacation plans or the raise you want. You need to take action.

Here are three steps to ensuring you take action. The are simple and bold. No “and, if or buts”… just simple steps!

• Stop waiting until everything is perfect! There is an old Chinese proverb that states “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is right now!”

• Stop overthinking and over analysing things!

• Get up and just do it! (I recall a brand using that term and seemed to do well by it!!)

And remember something very important. Complaining is NOT an action!
