Being Thankful

Being Thankful

Yesterday was Canadian Thanksgiving. As Canadians, we have a great deal to be thankful for.  I am most grateful for my family and the ongoing support they give me every day.  I am also thankful for all the clients that have allowed us to serve and assist them with their sponsorship marketing programs over the last 22+ years since our inception as a company! And I am grateful for the ability to be able to support others in our community who may not be as fortunate as we.

Our industry continues to grow and tomorrow, the WSC® (Western Sponsorship Congress® – Alberta Forum) will host its 19th consecutive annual event. The speaker lineup is incredible. The insights, knowledge, best practices, and future visions that will be shared will allow delegates to go forward and be successful. They will learn, network, and have fun. Tomorrow at the Municipal Pre-Congress Half-Day Workshop, we will also announce a whole new product for the WSC®! In February in Richmond Hill, we will host the first ever (and hopefully annual event) the WSC® – Municipal Summit! As soon as the site is up and running you will get notice on it!! This two-day event will be a full day of in-depth workshops focusing on municipalities and their sponsorship programs, and then a full day of panel discussions, keynote speakers, and breakout sessions. I am very thankful for the support of so many in the municipal sector in the sponsorship arena for bringing this to fruition, including but not limited to Scott  Elliot, Chris Reed  and of course, The City of Richmond Hill.

Finally, I am thankful for the opportunity that will be announced this Thursday at the WSC® Alberta Forum. It will be the upcoming launch and the start of a year-long celebration for the WSC® as we roll out our 20th birthday party for Canada’s longest running sponsorship marketing event. Stay tuned for offers and experiences!

Hopefully, you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I would be interested to know what you are thankful for today!
