The Canadian Curling Association recently announced one of curling’s most prestigious events will have a new title sponsor.

Home Hardware, Canada’s largest dealer-owned home improvement retailer, will be the title sponsor of the Canada Cup of Curling, presented by Meridian Manufacturing, for the next three years.

“It’s a perfect fit between us and Home Hardware,” said CCA Chief Executive Officer Greg Stremlaw. “We’ve had a great relationship with their company as they were the exclusive home improvement retailer and a National Supplier for the Season of Champions last season. Now, they have taken a leading role with an event that will feature Canada’s best teams as they begin their pursuit of the right to represent Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.”

“Home Hardware is proud to partner with the Canadian Curling Association,” said Terry Davis, CEO of Home Hardware Stores Limited.  “We are focused on supporting our communities across Canada and it is a pleasure to continue supporting one of the nation’s most popular and distinctive sports.”
