Do you enjoy reading the TMC? I hope so because I like writing it. As of today, I have published a TMC once a week continuously for 14 years. That is 728 articles. Prior to the official launch of a weekly email blast/blog in 2009 called the Tuesday Morning Commentary (TMC), these editorials were monthly and part of a personal newsletter I published for my clients when I was selling Ottawa Senators and Calgary Flames radio broadcast sponsorships. That newsletter ran from 1999 through 2009. Each month, it had an editorial piece that morphed into the TMC. The rest of that newsletter initially included job postings and industry news stories that we published in an email blast every Friday morning from 2009 to 2015 called “This Week in Sponsorship.” That was eliminated when we could effectively share the same content with a wider audience and serve the community better through posts on LinkedIn and other social platforms.

So in essence, the origins of the TMC are 24 years old today! With this, we now enter our 25th consecutive year of publication of the TMC and about 850 articles over that period. Thank you for being a reader, whether it is 25 years strong or you just joined us today! It is you, your reading, and your feedback that has kept us publishing all this time.
