SIGA

Annually the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) hosts a conference for best practices and professional development for its management from the casinos and operations office. This two day event in Saskatoon features speakers on topics to help build future capacity within the team.

This year Brent Barootes, President and CEO of Partnership Group – Sponsorship Specialists™ has been engaged to deliver breakout workshops on the changing trends of sponsorship in Canada and within Saskatchewan as well as on making sponsorships work, understanding employee engagement through sponsorships and measuring ROI for the casinos investments in local sponsorships.

Each year SIGA supports community events and programs across the province through sponsorships totaling in the millions of dollars. As management continues to invest in such community programs in social services, events, athletics and such, they continue, like the rest of Canadian sponsors, to ensure they are generating a measurable and positive ROI on these investments and committing to corporate social responsibility. These sessions will assist managers and front line staff to better understand the dynamics today of sponsorship marketing, the trends and changes going on and how to benefit from these. It will also provide take away tools for the managers to use in evaluating proposals asking for sponsorship money as well as programs and systems to measuring ROI post investment.

As a leader in the community SIGA, continues to set the bar for First Nations across Canada and with non-aboriginal organizations and their sponsorship program development.
